Crypto News | OpenBazaar accepts Bitcoin Cash

In today’s news review, we bring you information on the integration of blockchain technology and some concerning cryptocurrencies. First of all, we’d like to highlight that OpenBazaar accepts Bitcoin Cash now. OpenBazaar is a decentralized marketplace founded by a startup called OB1. They have also launched a beta version for Zcash support, where both bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash will be added as part of the project. Besides that, OpenBazaar’s intention is to develop and integrate its own token, which should take place in 2018. So far, they have raised more than $4 million and they have many strong companies on their side (Digital Currency Group, BlueYard).

The fact that OpenBazaar accepts Bitcoin Cash now is definitely a good thing, but we have some other interesting news, as well. According to the latest information, Venezuela’s Nicolas Madura tends to propose to OPEC adoption of a common cryptocurrency. This cryptocurrency mechanism should be, logically, backed by oil. On the other hand, some think that Venezuela has a plan of avoiding financial sanctions by implementing cryptocurrency in the organization.

The last crypto news from today’s review has to do with bitcoin. At the moment bitcoin’s price is slightly above $8,500. According to some analysts, the price could move towards the $9,000 mark. On the other hand, if it fails to do so, it will probably stick between $7,500 and the recent low of $5,800.

As for the other relevant news, we’d like to underline news from China. According to the latest statistical data, China’s economy is growing and it seems that it have picked up a momentum. For example, China’s export in January rose 11.1 percent from a year earlier, and it rose in a comparison to December, as well. But analysts say that we have to be careful when interpreting the data from the first two months because there have been some Lunar New Year business distortions. Anyhow, it seems that China is growing, so you should definitely keep an eye on the situation in that big country.
