Daily News | 401k plan stays

We’ll begin our news report today with a statement from the U.S. President Donald Trump. Once again, the news has to do with the tax reform Trump promised while he was still campaigning. He wants the Congress pass it by the end of the year and yesterday Trump said that the 401k plan stays and that it won’t be changed. This a profit-sharing plan that allows employees to contribute a portion of their wages to individual accounts. This retirement savings plan is sponsored by employers and has been, according to Trump, a great and popular middle class tax break that works. There’s a big and important discussion about the tax cuts and whether they are needed or not. Some analysts think that it will boost American economy, but others disagree. In any case, it seems that the 401k plan will stay, which is good news for many Americans.

The second piece of news we decided to highlight also comes from the U.S because Iowa has withdrawn its request to suspend certain Obamacare rules. The state’s Governor Kim Reynolds stated that the law wasn’t flexible enough to accommodate the state’s request. As you can see, there are a lot of interesting things going on in the United States, so there will definitely be some trading opportunities today, as well. We will keep an eye on the developments, so come back tomorrow for more info.
